Frequently asked

When does Valinor ship?

Fall 2027 is our current estimate. Timelines can shift, but we’ve set this one conservatively, and we’ll email you as the date firms up.

Does Valinor ship internationally?

Valinor ships to the US and Canada to start. Anywhere else, add your email and country to the international list — we’re expanding based on demand, and once your country reaches critical mass, we’ll open it. Want it to happen faster? Share the link with your countrymates.

What does Valinor filter?

75+ contaminants, including PFAS (forever chemicals), microplastics, lead, pharmaceuticals, and disinfection byproducts. The filter media is independently tested to NSF/ANSI 42, 53, and 401 standards. IAPMO certification is forthcoming. Explore the filtration technology.

Why glass and stainless steel?

Other pitchers claim to filter microplastics, then store the filtered water back in plastic. Glass and stainless steel don’t shed or corrode.

How do I know when to replace the filter?

Each filter is rated for approximately 100 gallons or 90 days of typical use. Your filter subscription is timed to that schedule — a fresh filter arrives before the old one is spent — and we send a reminder by email or text when it’s time to swap.

Is Valinor HSA/FSA eligible?

It depends on your plan. Water filtration products can qualify for HSA/FSA reimbursement with a Letter of Medical Necessity — save your receipt and confirm coverage with your plan administrator.

Can I change or cancel the filter subscription?

Yes. Replacement filters arrive every 90 days, and your first filter comes in the box. Skip, reschedule, or cancel anytime from your account, or email hello@valinorwater.com and we’ll take care of it.

Where is Valinor made?

The filter media is manufactured in the United States. The pitcher is assembled with components from a small set of vetted partners across the US and Asia. We’ll publish a full materials and supply-chain breakdown when production begins.

Can I check what’s in my tap water?

Yes. Enter your zip code on our free water report and we’ll show you what’s in your municipal water based on the latest EWG and EPA data.
